For Labor Day weekend I went to visit the Boren's of Schenectady, NY. We had a great time at the park. We played in the sand, played tennis, soccer, rollerbladed, and adorned ourselves with clover. You have to look closely but Glenn and Samantha are both sporting clovers tucked behind their ears. Boy, do I miss them.

Noah and Adam have been working on "Frosty" for several days now-packing the snow, watering it so it would hold, etc. They finished building him today and topped him off with a proper hat that Noah picked out from the Kara Chocolates store. It was filled with yummy peanut butter snowman and chocolate marshmallow oreo cookies. We finished the cookies just in time for "Frosty" to be finished-ready and waiting to come to life.

Murray Update

Murray does not have a bleeding ulcer. He has diverticulitis. He only lost 1 pint of blood. But as he says, "It looks like a lot when it's all over the floor." He is taking two antibiotics. Cipro and Metro......something. He has to give up all alcohol including vanilla extract mixed in anything not baked, like whipped cream. Apparently, it reacts poorly to the Metro...blah, blah, blah and will make him violently ill. He has until Thursday to feel better or he gets "his cat scanned."
