Highly Decorated Scout , originally uploaded by Grandma Boren . Noah attended a BSA Court of Honor last night where he received two more merit badges-rowing and small boat sailing. He was awarded bronze, gold, and silver palms each representing 5 merit badges past the 21 required for the rank of Eagle Scout making Noah's total 36. His Scoutmaster and troop of boys are surely the best in the world. Many thanks to Bro. Darrin Mellor and the scouts of troop 1333.

Grapes Galore! , originally uploaded by Grandma Boren . My neighbors the Tangrens got tired of making grape juice so they gave us 1 1/2 bushels of concord grapes and the juicer and I went to work. We now have 22 quarts of the yummiest grape juice. Ummmmm!

Kid in Cables , originally uploaded by Grandma Boren . I knitted my first cable project-a hat and scarf. Noah is modeling but they are a Christmas present for someone else. I won't say who because they just might read my blog. You never know.
